In the difficult 1980s, a period of decline, humanity began to experiment with a new type of drug in order to raise the potential to its maximum limits. In the meantime, the planet was suffering: climate change caused fluctuations from extreme heat to cold, leading to a new ice age. To cope with the cold, people consumed more drugs, which led to terrible mutations – deadly snowbloods appeared. Now, 20 years later, Los Angeles lies in ruins, and the survivors cling to life in a frozen city infested with mutated monsters.

Gameplay After the Fall

After The Fall is set in a frozen post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. You and up to three of your friends will have to fight against unprecedented huge waves of monstrous creatures known as Snowbreed. And when we say “huge” we don’t just mean quantity; you will encounter colossally large animals with hideous deformities.

In the fight for survival, you will use a variety of weapons:

• electrified brass knuckles;
• a custom pistol ready to slay hordes of snowbloods;
• hunting rifle;
• explosive ammunition.

You’ll be able to unleash devastating attacks with crafted devices, such as firing missiles from an 80s wrist-mounted player turned into a rocket launcher. Crafting, customizing weapons and equipment requires resources and blueprints found in different parts of the world, which you will take with you to the base camp for use.
